About the pay what you can model

The price depends on your status with the venue, the nature of your activity and your resources

What is the pay chat you can pricing?
Since its inception, Communa (the non-profit organization that manages the venue) has been relentlessly seeking to create an economic model that is consistent with its values and its desire to contribute to a societal transformation.
It is from these reflections that the idea of offering alternative pricing was born, where everyone can contribute according to their means. If a user does not have sufficient financial resources, we count on the fact that another user will contribute more, out of solidarity, and that a certain balance will be found, organically and consciously.  The prices we suggest have been calculated so that the project is realistic, viable and accessible to a maximum of people.

What is Maxima's situation?
We have challenged ourselves with running a site at Maxima's scale with a pay what you can model. However, at the moment, despite the best intentions and the solidarity that the project leaders have shown, we still need to find 4000€ over 6 months to ensure the financial balance of the project. One of the purposes of the multipurpose room is to contribute to the achievement of this financial objective. If this amount is reached, a surplus would allow for flexibility, security and creativity. (Note that the ASBL Communa does not make a profit).
